the job hunting trip

So it's been about 3 days since I came back from an epic trip to Europe. I'm still suffering from jet leg, where I fall asleep at 3pm and wake up at 12am, but oh boy I really did enjoy that trip, especially when I was in Poland and France.

So France was a fresh surprise. I felt like I went back to Spain, where I had the best time of my life growing up, even without having any girlfriends. Now, dating became such an essential part of my life, perhaps I've grown to depend on it. Anyways, France, the food was amazing, there was beautiful and impressive sight seeing places, such as the Louvre museum, Eiffel tower, and Montmartre square, and the people to my surprise seemed very nice. It was like if cities were people, I fell in love in first sight with Paris.

Later, I went to Poland. Now Poland was not as impressive as France, but it was very cheap indeed. I stayed at an apartment, where it looked like a place for rich people in the movie, and it was still cheaper than other hotels that I stayed in Paris or Amsterdam. And the food was great. I immediately liked the food there. It was very yummy. And the girls there unlike many other places seem to favor Korean guys. I slept with 4 girls there and I felt like a boss. The last girl I was with I am in a long distance dating right now. Man, Poland is the place to go to feel like a king.

Anyways, I've seen many sight seeing things in Europe, and to my surprise, I found it quite difficult to hook up with girls while I was in Western Europe. Poland was a breeze, and I am quite tempted to live there. But I must ask, is it really worth it to live in a country just to sleep with beautiful girls? It's a tough question to answer. But overall it was a great experience with amazing food daily, and I had a great time. I will visit again for sure before I return to university at the end of this year.

My life is lit

I have come a long way since I graduated as a scrawny nerdy kid from highschool. I was still a virgin! Leading up to that point, well to the point I joined the army, I used to live like a plant who grew up inside a glass box. I may have been a bad ass in elementary school as a little kid, but as my puberty hit, the "Asian brainwashing" began and I became just like any other stereotypical Asian kid, who studies a lot and likes to play video games. Well for the last part, I still enjoy playing video games but that's besides the point. Joining the military was like a wake up call for me. It was like a hard splash of cold water of reality on my face. In some parts of the training, I faced dangers which could have killed me, and as a matter of fact killed other fellow soldiers in the past. The training was rigorous and hardcore, every morning I had to wake up at 6am and exercise whether it was burning hot or freezing cold. I recall laying down on the snow in my short for an exercise, and asking myself, is this real life? Anyways I was lucky that I joined KATUSA, short for Korean Augmentation to the US Army, and I had many luxuries my fellow korean army soldiers did not, such as buffet cafeterias which put 4star hotel buffets to shame, a nice double room bunkers as opposed to 10 people per room barracks in the Korean Army, and lastly the option to leave the base after 6pm and on weekends. The Korean army only gave like 6 days of holidays throughout the 2 years of mandatory service. After I left the army, I took risks, such as traveling to different countries, going to bars and clubs, and meeting new people. Something I've never really done by myself in the past. I was truly independent. Just a few months ago, I went sky diving, and I'm not afraid to take risks anymore. I'm glad I went to the army. I was reborn as man. This year is 2018, year of dogs. And I was born in the year of the dog. I am the dog. This year I plan to make a lot of money. I really want to live to my fullest and succeed this year.

About Poland

Now as I mentioned in my previous writing, I have never been to Poland before in my life, ever.
I flew 7905.1 km from South Korea by airplane for 15 hours, and I didn't even know any Polish. Yet I can say that it was one of the bet trips I had in my life. Perhaps the fact that I was travelling alone or that I was on a quest to find my love made the trip more exciting, but it was a great country to visit.

Lucky for me, I do not speak any Polish but most Polish people spoke English. It was impressive, because most Koreans are bad at English especially with their ridiculous accent. Anyways many Polish people spoke English pretty well, and thanks to that I was able to travel with no big problems!
However, what was even more impressive was that Polish people were so nice and willing to help a lost foreigner. I remember them as very kind people.

Also I loved the food there, especially Kotlet! It was very similar to Don Kass, a fried pork meat we enjoy in Korea. Every restaurant I went, they gave more than I could eat. My taste buds were very friendly with  Polish food, and at one point I even thought I should have been born here. When I visited Angie, my girl friend, to her house, her mom cooked us all kinds of Polish dishes, and the food just melted in my mouth they were really really good!

Another thing I really liked about Poland was the beautiful houses. It made me feel like I was in a place from a story of grim brothers. It was a beautiful sight and it brought joy to my eyes just by looking at the houses. Korean architects should really take notes, I mean look at this contrast!

There were so many things I loved about Poland, but what I loved the most was meeting with the love of my life, Angie. Time I spent with her, which I'll mention in another post, was the most beautiful days I've spent, and I wish that the next two years fly by so I can come back to her as soon as possible and live happily ever after!

Chapter 1: Love

I'm a Korean and I've traveled 7905.1 km to Poland to meet a girl I've never met before, who also took my first kiss. To make things more romantic, I took her first kiss too.
New blog, new post, new chapter, sweet! Now that I got your attention, let's get started!
On my latest adventure, I went to Poland, which I've never been to before, and where I had the time of my life.
I'm actually writing this blog because of a request of the same girl I went halfway around the world to meet for the first time, Angie, who is actually my girlfriend now.
So how did this wonderful craziness all begin? Well it all started with a message I got on interpals, awebsite which let's you meet with new pen pals and make new friends all over the world. Basically, it's like facebook but you can become pen pals with who you want.
To be honest, I already had plenty of friends around the world, since more than half of my life I've been travelling and living in different parts of the world. Here's an example of what I mean by that; places I've lived in Spain, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic for around 3~5 years each 1year in Pennsylvania and 2 months in Boston, and I've traveled to Italy, UK, France, Netherlands, China, New York, Switzerland, honestly, more than I can remember.
Anyways, I guess now that you have an idea of how much I've been on an airplane and suffered from jet leg, you should know that travelling 7905.1 km to meet a girl I first met as a pen pal wasn't such a crazy idea for me. Especially when I was already in love with this girl I haven't met.
So her name is Angie, and honestly, I can say that falling in love with her was the best thing that's ever happened to me. Yes it's cliche thing to say, but it is what it is and I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
Although we started off just as pen pals, we quickly got interested in each other, and we liked each other very much. And the more we learned and shared about each other, the closer we got and the more we trusted each other. I loved everything about her. Her sweet and caring personality, gorgeous face, beautiful smile, cute aegyo, and laugh which I've become addicted with. We talked day and night, and I felt like I knew everything about her, but the only thing I was missing was actually meeting her in real life.
So I decided to go and meet Angie by going to Poland!

To be continued...
